There's a long flight of steps just outside Hebden Bridge, which must take some balls to ride. I bet @ColinJ knows the name of the place.

Ha ha - testing my encyclopaedic knowledge of local steps eh?

That looks like the steps down from Midgehole Road to Lee Mill Road! They come out HERE but the Street view camera has not quite caught them - the steps that you CAN see appear to come down from somebody's garden.

By the way ... if you are ever wandering about there - TAKE CARE - attack Guinea Pigs roam wild!

If I was a guinea pig I'd go bloody wild too at the ignominy of being evicted into a cold and hostile environment by my owner.

Just got back from a few days in Edinburgh. I spent a LOT of time wandering around the Royal Mile area wishing I had my MTB with me. Could have had hours of entertainment there, lots and lots and lots of steps......

Some people make it look so easy but is it that easy?

It's much easier than it looks. First of all, try somewhere that has just a few steps to get your confidence, maybe just 3 or 4.
