The shifters are unusual for a road bike, but actually reasonably practical. For £140 it's probably better than a typical mountain-bike-style object.

The ad was in The Telegraph (NTIRI), if I had a subscription I'd write to the editor and cancel it, as it I'll have to get the butler to pick up something else instead, Nuts or Top Gear magazine or something.
