I've watched a lot of the videos showing some pretty appauling driving and riding and my experience over the past week of (daily) riding has been a polar opposite; people round here have been courteous and apparently patient, and I've yet to suffer a nasty close pass. So I was starting to feel smug with my 'glad I don't live in the city' attitude being added to by this 
Until today... Some dozy old woman in a Toyota Verso pulled out from a street on the right without seeing me and nearly put me into the kerb despite my cry of 'oiiii watch where you're going you stupid bitch!!!' Then at the next junction a Vectra pulled out and did exactly the same thing. At the very next junction, doh.
