Right hooked one day, close overtake the next, bloody cyclists!

Going home on Friday, in an ASL, wanting to go ahead through a cycle only way, which puts me in the right hand of two lanes (the left one is left only). Chap pulls up to my left, then as the lights change, we both set off and he goes to go right, across me. My startled 'oi!' illicited an apology.

Then today, I was overtaken very closely by a lad on a bike, who then cut right in in front of me. Again, I 'oi!'ed at him (as much from surprise as anything), and got a muttered apology. He then sat in front of me at about 2mph less than I wanted to do. So I pointedly overtook him with loads of space....

Damn cyclists....

You can still fall off if it goes tits up.

This sort of pass from cyclists seems to be becoming more and more common for me now.I had two more today.

See it often.. people complain when cars come to close, but won't give other cyclists room.

They're a pain in the bum. Had a numpty overtake me last night, on the inside, close, at speed, in heavy traffic (which I was holding back for) before nipping in between a bus and an HGV - both moving at some speed - with cms to spare. Twat.
