I spent a few hours last night looking a youtube clips trying to make up my mind which is my favorite moment, I just could not make up my mind, whenever I thought 'this was it' another would come along.. simply way too many. I do think the Gas Man scene/episode has to be in my top 5 though.

I was lucky enough to see the first 3 stage shows of 'Bottom', at Leeds, or Bradford
No matter how carefully you watched them, you simply couldn't see how they missed with the frying pans, cricket bats, etc........

One of the few people who could make me laugh just by pulling a face. A proper physical comedian - not the rubbish like Lee Evans who runs around the stage like a child filled with pathetic observational comedy "aint it funny that you wait ages for a bus then 3 come at once??"

His self depreciating humour of playing such unlikable hypocrites and self obsessed characters is unrivalled.

I remember watching the first frying pan scene in Bottom and my dad having to switch the tv off as I was laughing so hard I literally fell off the chair and nearly passed out.

Uncalled for, harsh and unkind.
