I need to replace my tyres usually I have 700x25c but was wondering if I need to stick with the 25c, I don’t know the tyre range my wheels can take but I know the rim details from the builders website.

Can someone advise what the min and max for this would be I have tried looking and I don’t have a clue.

Thanks in advance.

The only reason I’m looking at replacement tyres is I had 2 punctures this morning and I noticed the tyre was very perished and cracked.

If that's the case you definitely need new tyres.

You should be able to go up to 28c as is the fashion now. The question is do you have the clearance, the rim should be able to take it. The main area you need to check is the with between the chain stays.

I can check that’s when I’m home to make sure, from memory I think there is plenty but I will take a look once I’m home.

Excellent thanks Mo, it seems dependent on what I can find as well, I really like P-Zero Velo tyres the folding ones but I can’t find those in 25c

Looks like it's been replaced by this

There is a 25mm but you'll need to order from an EU seller for best price

UK seller

That makes sense seeing as the only ones I can really find in 25c are on eBay.

Thanks again Vickster.

Did find a UK seller, have updated post

Easily get 28s on that rim , assuming as said the frame can take it
