jolly good show... it's amazing how peoples imagination can take over... a bloke I work with watches the footage and only sees black faces, whereas when i watch it... i see both black and white faces.

Imagination. Something that happened down in Southampton. My workmate gets a text about 10 mins before we leave work from his missus. Something along the lines of "avoid city centre, riots!"

I was slightly concerned - my route home on the bike is through the city centre - but my Mother works there so I was concerned about that. I came home, and got online and checked a few BBC and other news sites and it seemed to just be a hoax. It seems there was a) an arson attack on a job centre (wtf?); and b) three people had tried to kick up a stink with social networking sites (and have since been arrested), it failed. People were able to realise a few morons werent worth the effort.

Well done that lad! The Twitter response seems to have been amazingly positive. What with the clean ups and the people (like Steven Fry) saying "give to this charity, it will make the world a better place!"
