I can remember crazy horses being performed on top of the pops and many other shows of the time.

Founding member and writer for the Osmond Brothers.
Aged 76, he has battled MS for many years.
I am of an age that remembers there music well.
My favourite.....Crazy Horses.

Yup Crazy Horses

I remember having heard about The Osmonds and how they were followed by teenage girls and all that

so I was not interested

The Crazy Horses came of Top of The Pops and I was gob-smacked
Not at all what I was expecting - actually just what I wanted to hear!!

Then we got Puppy Love and things like that (OK that was Donny) and I went back to switching the radio off when The Osmonds were on next!

but it showed they could do it
but "The Management" pointed them n the direction of the money

Dogtrousers

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
Initially banned in France and S. Africa ('cos they didn't understand what it was about ... or they thought they did but actually didn't).

I just looked that up, and it's pretty funny.

The Saffers thought that "horses" was something to do with heroin and the French though "smoking up the sky" was obviously druggy, zut alors. But given that the Osmonds were Mormons and pushing a smiley wholesome drug free image they were hardly likely to by hiding subtle druggy messages in their songs.

The song was covered John Otway, a fact which I'm sure filled the entire Osmond clan with pride and excitement.

Anyway, RIP.

Sad news,

The song 'Crazy Horses' was also covered by 'The Sensational Alex Harvey Band'

Mid seventies at school, the girls were mad on Donny Osmond and David Cassidy.
Then, along came ABBA, and we had our own pin-ups.
(obviously not the beardy one and the other geezer)

I quite fancied the beardy one ^_^ .
No, seriously, both those girls were good looking.

The Osmonds spoiled so many records,by putting a hole in the middle of them.
