My Mum was a Shane Fenton & the Fentones fan. I was a bit young. Loved Alvin Stardust though. Saw him a couple of times, he was an excellent showman.

RIP Alvin. You'll be missed in our house.

Oh no! What a shame, me and my mates spent a very drunken weekend at Pontind in minehead a few years ago at a 70s night, Alvin Stardust was one of the acts along with the Rubettes, Bay City rollers Shawaddywaddy, Susie Quatro, Denny Laine and Sweet. Alvin & Suzie were the best acts on that weekend.
