He had a small part in the (first) Smokey & The Bandit film, when he directs Big & Little Enos Burdette, to where 'The Bandit' can be found

He was also in the House of Congress, as a representative of Georgia (fictionally in the first TV cast movie, & actually in real life!!)

Is it me or does it look a bit low-res quality?. May be watching it on a 55 inch screen as opposed to back in the day, a 28 inch cathode job!

Just been reading up about the Dukes of Hazzard.

I never really watched the early series but I could tell the outside shots didn't give off that hot dusty countryside memories of the later series

Just been reading up about the Dukes of Hazzard.
The first couple of series were filmed in Georgia before moving location to California.
I never really watched the early series but I could tell the outside shots didn't give off that hot dusty countryside memories of the later series

That explains why the town looks different. The weather isn't as bright & sunny either, they seemed to shoot on dull overcast days!. They later used the old trusty backlot set town centre which I saw on the Universal tour. Its been in countless productions, perhaps most famously in Back to the Future.

Watched it last night, its tea-time fluff to watch now they've done 6 Million Dollar Man (again). Usual car chase shenanigans but spotted a fun continuity cock-up. The boys like to fire arrows with lit dynamite sticks on them to blow stuff up. In last nights episode, one of them fires a dynamite stick at a road block to blow it up....without lighting the fuse.

Those continuity errors are rife in tonight's episode.
In the usual race the car is covered in dents in one shot and then it's perfect in another.
I wish my car could be self healing like that 🤣

That used to happen in Knight Rider, supposedly indestructable KITT would clearly have dents/scraches after car chases but mysteriously perfect & polished in the final shot. I read they did use a large rubber body 'glove' that stretched over the car and took a lot of hits. You can tell because the windscreen is/isn't recessed by it in some shots.

Last nights DoH race story saw the General Lee a wreck....but all perfect by the end of the episode!.
