It's all been said. Poor old Bert!! I'm really quite upset, having followed him round East London in the 60's where he played at scruffy little pubs, drank vast quantities of Guinness and smoked like a chimney. Thats him and Davy Graham gone.... only John Renbourne left. BTW Anji was Davy Grahams song but Bert nicked it.
Just played "Needle of Death" and have to admit that I shed a tear...

A very sad loss indeed.

When I was about 15, and trying to teach myself the guitar, I bought a Bert Jansch "Sampler" album, thinking there might be some nice easy tunes to learn. 40 years on and I still can't get anywhere close to playing them......
