The nurse said he had a bit of trouble breathing (he was in heart failure) so they called the GP out (he had just been moved to a community hospital).
They gave him some oxygen while they were waiting and she said he just slipped away very peacefully.
He had been calling out for my mum all last week and said to my brother on Sunday night that he was tired.
I think he knew

If I say that's good, you'll know what I mean hopefully.
