RIP - Dolores ORiordan

she has died suddenly aged just 46.
The cranberries were one on the bands of my University years.
Her voice was so unique.

One of my favourite bands of the 90s.
Saw them at Milton Keynes Bowl in 1996, they stole the show from REM in my opinion.
46 is no age, such a shame.

Just heard the news on Radio 2 - Simon Mayo played 'Dreams' immediately after the bulletin. Such an amazing voice.

So sad, and no age.

That's a real shocker! She was a favourite in our household. When my daughter played in her band in the early 2000's they did a lot of cranberry covers, so most evenings all we could hear coming out of her bedroom was her trying to emulating Dolores. R.I.P
