Started young, and still going.

Barnet,
His name lives on though.
The company he started is now a global brand.

Great brand

I remember one of the "difficult" kids, at the last school I taught at, was mad on Eddie Stobart
all I had to do to keep him on task and happy was to make the work he was doing based in some way on Eddie Stobart
(which is not as easy as it sounds sometimes - there are limits!!!)

He is still one of the kids I wonder about - hope he is OK

but the brand and the lorries have provided lots of entertainment for a lot fo people
and a lot of relief for parents when taking kids on long journeys who need a game for them to play!!

Not for long, slowly being rebranded as Culina

Puzzle game procrastinator!
Personally, I was more of a Norbert Dentressangle type of guy.
I went to visit my sister about 20 years ago when her kids were young. I had dozed off as we were driving down the M1 but then my niece suddenly shouted out EDDIE STOBART. I woke with a start! A few moments later my nephew shouted NORBERT DENTRESSANGLE. This happened again every few minutes. Eventually, I asked what they heck they were doing. It turned out to be a game that they played to break the monotony of motorway journeys - whoever saw the most vehicles from their chosen logistics company was the winner!
