I used to watch Happy Days when I was an adolescent. I never realized that she was only 4 years older than me.

Sad all too common story of success in early career and then things come to a grinding halt. Some overcome it but others just go down hill. That's showbiz as they say.

I see that the creator of Happy Days died just a while back as did the guy that used to play Arnold.

Don't know what you mean @Mrs M but I've seen cause of death reported as cancer and drugs overdose.

The media that is reported that she died from an illness have done very little while she was alive to give you the impression why would ever do anything to protect her dignity.

Yep, terminal cancer and it seems the drug reports came from her (disgruntled) ex. RIP 'Joannie'
