True, but those people haven't been a part of our lives in the same way musicians, actors, sportsmen/women and other public figures have.

There is a long tradition, observed every December, of remarking how many more famous people have died this year compared to previous ones.

Technically that's probably true, of course, as every year produces more and more people who are famous for being famous, as well as those with a genuine talent.

Was it about this specific clip? Carpool karaoke he does in US definitely is, you can tell as he picks up and puts down passengers. But this clip did not look convincingly like he was really driving.
Daily Mirror, TV Times and another website state he is actually driving, while forums opinions are divided. Just a passing observation, i'm not THAT bothered, just seems a bit stupid if he is. (well....it is Corden)

It must be terrible to die alone on Christmas day. Whoever you are. He seemed to be a nice guy and was very generous giving money to the people he met or didn't meet. Like the nurse who looked after him or the lady that needed funds for IVF treatment. He was also a big supporter of Macmillan Nurses. I don't care about his sexuality but it seemed to be a part of the demons he could not cope with. For anybody to die at only 53 is a tragedy. As for those taking the p on here. Bit out of order, IMO. He was still someones friend, brother, son etc.

Not a fan of his music nor impressed by some of his antics (but nobody is perfect - least of all me so who am I to judge!), but there is no denying it he had a great voice. At the Freddie Mercury concert he was the only one who did justice to the song he did.

Wham! Was a guilty pleasure growing up. When George went solo, oh my - absolute top quality writing and singing. Saw him live in 2009. Quite simply a musical genius.
