I think he was the son of the mayor of my home town of Orleans in the 60's, when I lived there.

Ah the noble art of table tennis! It always makes me think of the mid 1970's when a few of us would skive boring triple maths at the local comp'....yes triple ffs! and head of back to my mum and dad's place and have knock out tournaments on their oval shaped dining table. Happy days indeed!
