Unlike others, I have not yet managed to amass a mouthful of saliva to gob on her grave. I knew nothing about her until the ten o'clock news tonight. She seemed an awful lot funnier than Jo Brand, but there's no accounting for taste.

Wow, gotta get me some of that Karma.
Live a healthy, active, successful life until 81, with mind in good order, and a face and body that are remarkable (yes, of course surgical, but who wants to look 81?); and then to die after a very short illness. Pretty good, I think. If Karma is a factor, she's done something amazing in her life.
Of course, karma is not a real thing.
I have no opinion about her either way but 81, a pioneer of her time and some quite amusing self-depreciating gags. I think if someone has the ability to send themselves up, they can't be all bad.

I'll miss her, she wasn't that funny but did come out with a few gems in her time. But then I can also find humour in Royston Vasey's stuff too.

I remember listening to her on a inflight comedy channel, decades ago. When the headphones where just hollow tubes, and you could hear the sound if you put your ear near the arm rest. And of course, there was always a Bob Newhart routine somewhere in the mix.

She was funny and she opened the door for other young women to get into comedy, yes she was harsh and offended others but she talked about stuff no one else dared to talk about but should have. She went too far yes, then again so do others.
