RIP K9 (John Leeson)

[matticus]

Voice of K9. Aged 83, not a bad innings.

...but I did not know he also played Bungle in Rainbow! (the kids telly show, not the rock band)

I didn't know that Bungle was in the rock band as well.

[Ming the Merciless]

Bungle

Impressed Bungle fitted inside K9. No wonder he spoke like that!

I didn't know that Bungle was in the rock band as well.

Bungle wasn't in the rock band Rainbow. That's a commonly held misconception. It was, in fact Zippy and George who were in the rock band. Bungle only joined them after they were sacked by Blackmore.
