Very sorry to hear about Mel Smith's passing. I very much enjoyed "Not the 9 O' Clock News" back in the day. Very sad indeed.

I saw Smith & Jones live in Margate many years ago.. Absolutely brilliant. Didn't stop laughing from start to finish.

He sold his production company with griff rees jones a few years ago and as a result was a very, very rich man.
