He was in a care home for actors.

Wasn't Mike Yarwood the 1970's BBC Saturday night tv impersonator in there as well? I remember seeing a photo of both of them outside the home, taken a few years ago.🤔

I spent an afternoon on the golf course with Richard back around 1977/8 playing in a Bernard Cribbins charity day. Tessa Wyatt (his new partner) joined us. This was just after her split with Tony Blackburn. I have nice memories of Richard as he was very friendly, good company and easy to get on with.
RIP Richard.
