Possibly as well known for his off field antics as his international managerial career I always thought he was a cool fella with a great sense of humour.

Sad, but inevitable news when pancreatic cancer is diagnosed. He was a pretty stylish chap and I doubt he ever raised his voice at the many players he must've managed.
