RIP Tim, another part of my childhood now lost:sad:. I went to see both Tim & Graeme Garden years back when they toured theatres with the retrospective Goodies show. I adored this show as a kid, always a talking point in the school playground the morning after the previous nights show:okay:. I've got some of the DVD's but all the BBC stuff is out now on a big boxset, ITV series also out.

I used to look forward to the Goodies every week. My parents used to let us stay up late to watch it (mind you, it did disappoint more times than not). As an adult, I was surprised to find he was still quite funny, like Graeme Garden, on radio programmes such as Sorry I Haven't Got a Clue.

I watched The Goodies a lot when young. Tim Brooke-Taylor was very talented. I remember such classics as the lighthouse episode, where they're all trapped in a lighthouse, and Tim panicks and starts saying "I'm a teapot!".
