What chainset/cassette options would any of you choose with this new 105?

50/34 with 11-28 makes most sense? Or the 11-32 with 39/53 lol!

And how much of the cassette do you reckon you can get with the largest chainring? All but the biggest one?

Managed to scrape together a sram rival 11 speed group on ebay in budget too.... Also bene offered sram red 10 speed bit it comes in about 50 quid over budget that i really dont have what so ever

Tbh might go with the red and just not buy the front mech just yet as that is 80 odd quid.. Anyone think thats a good idea?

Sram red is a while lot better than 105 whatever @dan_bo says.

You could always buy a Force front mech and save some cash. You won't notice a difference.

Ive gone for sram red black edition shifters and rear mech.. £200 for the pair.. Cant argue really, the rest ill pick up on ebay
