Blast past, stop at next set, get RLJ'ed, repeat, repeat - great interval training - gives you someone to chase......

Do that three times, after the third, as you pass, make a comment about how despite them jumping, you're still faster then them. But you have to make sure you don't sound remotely out of breath when you say it.... Having a wicker basket on your bike would also rub salt into the wound...

I got overtaken by a basketed bike about a month ago. Bloke was in full lycra too. Oddest combination.

What make me laugh is the fact that some people are so convinced about their own importance that they think a random member of the public would give a shoot about their opinion.

And yet most people do, although they would like us to think otherwise. We aren't social animals for nothing. It's why smily/sad face speed readouts have an effect.

Just because you're on a bike doesn't give you licence to lecture anybody else particularly another cyclist. Theres' plenty of people with opinions about everything even if they don't know what they're talking about. People should just mind their own business. We're not out their to police ourselves so to speak there are enough people already doing that.

Just asking for abuse and or worse depending on gender, size, age etc etc. The further down the food chain you are the more likely you'll get abuse, it's very predictable.

So each persons actions are independent of everyone elses, and nothing others do is our business? Sorry, but no, thats neither acceptable in principle or in practice.
