I believe that the current stock wheels Mavic Aksium One Disc have quite beefy hubs - but cannot be sure where most of the weight is.

Thanks for the offer, but I can get the Pro-Lite's new for £150 which is likely to be less than what you want for them?

Errr yeah a bit more than that! That's a great price new!

If you can get Wiggle to price match the Ribble ProLites then do it, you won't match anything at that price. Here they are on my Giant

Disc braking is a pointless marketing tactic.

Primacy to all things on sale for hobbies - find a reason that the customer needs to buy something. It doesn't matter what or why...and so we have disc braking in road bikes.

That's a quality bit of trolling there. Brings nothing to the thread, making a statement whilst mildly topical is complete rubbish, but with enough bait so people will bite and start a 'debate'. Well done, 8/10.

Only a conservative 6/10 for not mentioning how good his rim brakes are/no problem stopping/dangerous/magically hot/razor sharp/posting a pic of a chainring injury/spinning blade/peloton/di2 is a waste
