Hi,
I want to change my stem for a 60mm one angled up 60 degrees. My handlebars are 27mm (As close as I can measure them.) and the steerer end seems to be 32mm. Is there such a thing as a spacer/shim so that I can make up the size as stems I've seen can be 31.8mm on the handlebar end.
Thanks for your time

Welcome ethan12.

These people do bar spacers...

If they don't do one that suits you, ask them where they might suggest that you could find one.

Good luck.

Thank you. Details I had no idea about. I think they are 26.0.

yes, don't fool about using shims.

If you want to convert to the 'modern' 31.8 size it's best to replace the handlebar stem AND handlebars so that they both match.

A 60 degree stem is incredibly steep - do they even exist? I've seen 45 degrees, but most are 6, 10 or 17 degrees

if you are trying to higher your bars, why not just use an extender?

Something like the Delta one? I use one on our road tandem - looks clunky but works. I did originally look for a steep stem, but needed a longer one than one can buy easily.

Does anybody do custom stems?

i'm looking to get a 10d stem

there is a marking on my current one, 8nm

is that the tube size?

my handle bar is 31.8mm

wonder if this one would do. the reviewer says its for 1 1/8 headsets
