Hi might be worth following this thread OP's Cube endurance option seems a good one.Hi all
Currently using a hybrid but thinking of purchasing a road bike, budget of £1000, looking something with more relaxed style of riding and not lying over the back as much.
Any advise much appreciated
The world is your oyster. Not sure what 'not lying over the back as much' means but I assume it's a endurance type you're after:

We usually call it 'arse in the air'Typo, meant lying over the bike

Was it the correct size? How much do you want a new bike for spring/summer?So out of 4 bikes shops the only one I was advised on was trek domane al4, all other shops where struggling with stock, is this a good bike? or wait a yr till stock starts flowing in again then least I have a choice of bike not just buying the first one that comes along
The Trek Domane would be a good choice, as @vickster says Relaxed geometry is what you are looking for and size correctly. So out of 4 bikes shops the only one I was advised on was trek domane al4, all other shops where struggling with stock, is this a good bike? or wait a yr till stock starts flowing in again then least I have a choice of bike not just buying the first one that comes along
