Budget? I shouldn’t get too hung up on carbon, there’s not much difference in weight /feel to aluminium.

A 50cm TT might be a bit large if 5’3 (a couple of 5’6 friends ride closer to that)
Budget? Around £1500 used is probably just about realistic right now
This sort of meets spec except it’s alu (new £1599, might be able to get a little deal) but the size guide assuming she’s a fairly standard 5’3, suggests a 47 not 50

I have a carbon Cannondale Synapse 48cm. It’s rim brakes not disc though. It has flat carbon bars and hand built wheels made for me by the fabulous Spoked Wheels from this forum

I'm 5ft 3ins, female and i ride a 52cm frame. You need to look at leg & back length as well as overall height. I have same inside leg length as my hubby who is 5ft 8 ins.
