Hello.

Re. above, I am about to build another cycle and was interested in the difference between the mentioned frames.
I only need the frame and forks, have the other pieces from a previously accident damaged cycle.
I am a road rider but have seen a time trial frame that looks good, the rear tubes don't go as far up as the seat, joined to the seat post lower down.
Shall be obliged if a reader can explain the differences I might expect from the cycle when riding.

Thank you.

Tt frames are designed for you to be further over the front end you you might find it abit funny with drop bars, but if its something that fits you theres no issue, you wont know imtil you try

If you do go for one i suggest you find one with a layback seatpost so you can get into a 'normal' road position

There's a bit more to it than that. Unless you plan on actually TTing, a TT-specific frame will not be a sensible option for general road rides.

How about a compromise, there are some road bike that veer towards the TT side of things.

Bikes like the specialized venge are a road bike, but are aero and can put you in a decent tt position too.

I've had a ride on a Cervelo S3 which for a road bike felt a lot lower at the front than my road Basso !

As an aside, said owner of the S3 bought a Chinese frame called a son-feng, feng-hon or something like that and for the price it really was very good .....
