The least sentence he should get is a permanent driving ban and certainly some time in a place where he can reflect on the damage he's caused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A compromise - would a simple shake of the head as in ' I don't believe you would be stupid enough to that' seem like a reasonable response not to illicit any violent response.

My personal belief is that we don't make enough noise through the right channels. We really should do more of that.
