although writing about 'The Joy of Wind in Your Hair' in relation to Norman Baker is a little cheeky

They still refer to it, Casarteli crashed without helmet and died, Boardman crashed wearing helmet and survived. QED.

I might send them an email and see what helmet they recommend for protection against sliding face-first into a concrete block at over 30mph

You've got a point, Greg. I don't know how he'd take to spending all night with a special interest group pleading with him to spend less money, though.

This lot http://www.sourcewat...ling_Group_APPG have recently been led on a bike ride by an FNRttCer. I wonder if he mentioned the ride?

I did invite Sadiq Khan along a couple of years ago, but he was, understandably, busy. I get the impression that Parliamentarians don't stop doing what they do until midnight, and start pretty early the next day.
