Thanks guys. Bluenite, it was a retro bike but I wouldn't call it classic. I sold it now and own a Giant Defy.

Cycling out toward Corby, the scenery i encounter is similar to yours Kinetic..its only round the corner i guess.
This one is between Harringworth and Corby...The mobile phone camera doesnt do it justice, on the day it was just a golden sea of red poppies.

It's a nice area to ride in. Still need to push myself to get to the Corby area on my rides. I'm currently doing 15 miles average at the moment as I have recently taken up road.

It's a lovely area, I rode through it for the first time last year, from St Ives to Rugby, I was surprised how scenic it was. Confirming to me what a beautiful country we live in.
Is that gated road the one that goes under the A14? If it's the one I'm thinking of it's where I took this photo;

Ah, not the road I was thinking of then.
The photo was taken with a Panasonic LX5, a smallish camera compared to a DSLR, IMO plenty good enough for normal sized prints and the internet.

No, I was just passing through as part of a longer tour.

Oh right. I might get one of those cameras as my other camera broke.

Had a really nice 24 miler this afternoon. The sun was out, rabbits in the fields - And beat my last time for the same ride by 20 minutes. Need to start planning some nice longer routes to train on for a coast to coast I am hoping on doing at some point in the future.

I can push myself to do double at the moment, really unfit after not riding properly for a year. Doubt I'm ready for a coast to coast yet though!
