The technology to do this kind of thing is already being successfully developed at the moment.

The technology would work...until the man in the car in front decides that he is technologically compitant to service his own car!

That'll never work. Pretty soon some dough brain will do something idiotic whilst in the middle of one of those and the crash will put everyone else off.

And yes, it still seems like a desperately wasteful way to move six people!
