road tyres for tricross

Hi, I've just reserved a specialised tricross via the cycle to work scheme. Can anyone recommend a good, reasonably priced tyre to put on it for road use?
I don't want to go the whole hog and get a spare set of wheels yet.

Schwalbe Marathons on mine. Also 700 x 28.

Schwalbe Durano Plus or Bontrager Racelite hardcase. Or if you want lightweight fast tyres and are prepared to compromise on protection a bit then Schwalbe Ultremo ZX 23's or Michelin pro 4's.
