I'm thinking of taking a scenic route home to take advantage of the weather. I cycled through knutsford/wilmslow/tatton etc. this weekend on an intro club ride and fancy doing them again this eve.

Is this a good idea during rush hour. I can't imagine it would be too busy but thought I should check.

Here's the planned route - http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1032254

Just for info. FAR quieter than the normal commute roads - did a 25 mile commute home. Was awesome

They aren't too bad. My commute takes me through the countryside around Wilmslow at rush hour and the only hairy bits are the speed and distance some cars pass you at. Tbh you get that at the weekends as well. The Tatton mile which takes you from Tatton to Ashley is a particularly fast road although if you put the power down you can be doing well over 30 yourself, just watch out for the drain covers that are set about 18 inches into the road half way along.
