I currently commute on a Ridgeback Meteor but I am looking for a new bike - I cycle 5 miles each way in all weathers, mainly tarmac but also cycle paths, and do some kerb hopping, so I am looking for a tougher bike. I also use the bike for general transport and leisure as I don't own a car.

I want hydraulic disc brakes and I will want to fit full length mud guards. I don't want front or rear suspension. I will fit tyres between 32 - 40 in width and I am looking to spend up to £600!

Possibilities include:
Revolution Courier Hydro Disc '13

Ridgeback Dual Track x3

Jamis Allegro Comp Disc

Any opinions or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
