RockShox Tora 302 Lockout / Fork Juice

I asked the lads at the bike shop what to put on my forks 'cause I thought they were a bit sticky and they said "Fork Juice, mate." Got some Fork Juice, tried a little bit to start with and all is now wonderful and smooth. Except my lockout switch has stopped working.

I only took it for a spin along a canal path so it hasn't had any big hits or anything like that. Is the problem with the lockout likely to be related in any way to the lube?

Either way, the shop can bloody fix it under warranty because they recommended the stuff but I'm just asking out of curiosity.

Mine have been sticky for about a year! I assumed they smooth out but they haven't yet...

I wouldn't have thought that the two were connected. Only thing I can think of is that the bike's been on its side or upside down and the oil hasn't settled again yet. Try the lockout again, after the bike's been siting on its wheels overnight, before you take it to the shop.

Been sitting on its wheels for ages and no better, but it's heading into the shop for its free after-sales service soon anyway so that'll get fixed while it's in.

At least they're not sticky any more!
