The comments on here suggest you are confused. The comments re episodes and theme music are not from the Likely Lads, but from the follow up series made some 9 years later - Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads.
The Likely ~Lads was made in black and white around 1964/5 and was in black and white wih the 2 working as apprentice electricians in Newcastle. it ended with Bob going to join the Army. Terry goes along to be with his mate. Bob gets rejected, but Terry gets signed up.
Sadly, apparently only 8 episodes of The Likely Lads remain [/Pedant Mode]
