That was his second solo album, 'Pro's and Con's Of Hitch Hiking' blew me away when I first got it. That 18 wheeler driving in though one speaker then pulling away through the other, unreal at the time.
Mind you I did have the Amps at 'full chat' (about 75% of max output) and I may have been smoking a couple of 'herbal cigarettes' at the time.

Pros and Cons is my favourite, of all his work I think it hangs together best as a single piece

Saw the original stage show at Earls Court many years ago. The album has my all time favourite track,but in terms of stage show, I much preferred other tours. - Which I suppose sort of proves what Waters was getting at in wrting the album.

I didn't know all that much about them until TVC introduced me to their stuff. Seeing a space suit and a huge pink pig floating over my head was rather surreal
