I'm no special fan of Star Wars but I enjoyed it. It's pretty bleak for a kids/geek film.
Everybody dies.
i did wonder if Disney would have the guts to go full blakes 7 but they surprised me. One in the eye for the disneyfied crowd. I did think, do any of these guys have a plan to get out? But they knew there was no escape and that it was a one way trip.

They all had their heros moment though so even though it was sad, their deaths all has a purpose.

Apparently some of them were meant to die at a vaders hands but they changed it, hence some of the reshoots.

For the record, I didn't really mind the episodes 1 - 3 when I saw them, they were of their time. What DOES annoy me though is that it appears to be THE LAW to have a moan about Jar Jar Binks at every available opportunity.

Folks, he was a CGI character, he WASN'T REAL!! If you feel you need to moan about that so much, then you all seriously need to get out more!!

I just could not buy into that romance and talk about mixed signals with that fireside chat!

Their relationship was better in 3 but still..

She does not sound like a Brummie. She sounds more like Mary Archer or Joan Bakewell.

Here for rides.
Just got back from it.

Last big of CGI left me with a lump in the throat in the light of recent events but otherwise it left me feeling more than a little "Meh!".

Reminds me of the time my wee bro protested against Empire Strikes Back as being his least favourite 'as it is not realistic'. Not realistic? Er, they are all science fiction movies. He retracted said comment with speed, but nevertheless deserved to be referred to as 'nobber' for at least a week.
