Spotted this morning, Commercial Road, London:
A closer look revealed that romance is not dead:
Perhaps bick is short for Bickerton, although it's clearly a Raleigh fold-up.
If that was me, I would be finding a new lamp post to lock my bick.
For some reason I have this vision in my head of the note's author.
Is the bit blocked out anything to do with you look like you strong and good with plough ?
It's George Formby..
this is a bit creepy
No, it's the note leaver's contact details.
I'd stop being so coy, Miss TF, and get back to him
Flippin cellotape on the paintwork ! Sheesh !
That is actually the first thing I thought!
Sadly not for me.
If I got a note attached to my bike, it would probably be written in excrement and contain many four letter words.
Traffic wardens are like that round here too.
Go on admit it you wrote the note to yourself just like the Valentine card only this time you employed the cunning plan of pretending English is not your fourth language.
What sort of places do you leave your bike!?*
* a rhetorical question. I have no plans to start leaving billet doux on ladies bicycles. Well, not at the moment, anyway..
Don't be silly I haven't progressed to 4 letter words yet
Separate names with a comma.
