Rose Bikes delivery time?

Thinking of ordering a wheelset from RB - what is the delivery time to the UK like?

I used them recently for some spokes and bits. I don't remember it being any slower than a typical UK firms despatch time. Now, Chain Reaction is a different matter.I have heard the grumbles on here recently and thought people were just being unlucky as I have always had shockingly quick or normal delivery times from them but I placed 2 orders before the Jubilee weekend, one midday on 28th and the next later on 29th and neither has arrived yet. I think that is seriously bad service and I will think twice before using them again where as they were almost my default supplier before!

I've ordered quite a bit from them, lights, hubs, tyres and tubes and they seem as quick as UK stores.

They seem to use parcelforce which IMHO is way better than citylink. Left my last parcel at local postoffice when I was out instead of depot miles away.

Prices always seem quite a bit cheaper.

Thanks all - I think I will go ahead. Their prices are certainly very competitive. On the subject of good excellent service - I ordered a tool from Tweeks on Wednesday around midday, received Thursday first post - less than 24 hours!

Maybe 3 days rather than the 2 one expects from the best of the uk online folks.
And should you ever have a problem ... they have an excellent free returns service, as I found out when they made an error on one of my orders. A problem very speedily resolved by a Hr. Foecker....

Depends if they have all the parts in stock. I was quoted 3 days build time and then however long it takes to deliver, 1 day from Rose to airport and then you are at the mercy of the airline/ uk courier. Wheels where well packed.

Order placed around midday Friday 8th. Brief hiccup re payment methods (entirely my fault - soon sorted by 'phone). Order despatched Monday via DHL and sent to the UK Tuesday. Received wheels (Parcel Post) this morning just after 8am. Well packed. Pretty good - couldn't be much faster . Great catalogue. Not so sure about the free welcome gift - a ROSE untersetzer, spuhlmascinenfest Signet grun!
