How many people do not want higher wages?
Depends what comes with the higher wages. I absolutely don't want any more stress or responsibility in my job, so I'm happy to stay where I am. Our team leader was recently promoted due to a shake up, and where we used to all sit and have lunch together, and have a laugh, now there are some days I barely see him, and when I do it's to report something gone wrong.
Now, if I could have higher wages for the same job, that would be fine, but it ain't happening!
) it may or may not interest those who looked at this originally to know that I am currently actively seeking other employment. Whilst I have learned a few lessons whilst working here and will defenitely ask more searching questions when interviewing for any new jobs, I will be willing to accept the same/possibly slightly worse holiday conditions and would be happy to take a lower-paid job to get away from this place. I have made mistakes here but have been made to feel so utterly worthless and demotivated that for my own mental health' sake I have to leave. I am just hoping I can hang on long enough to be able to wait until a new position is found before jacking this in, otherwise I'll be finding a temporary agency job and using some savings to bridge the gap.
