Route advice sought Nene Valley

Looking for advice on scenic route along the Nene Valley. To Northampton (where I shall join the grand Union canal to Birmingham)

HI Thanks for the Link, Had looked at that site but could not garner much route info from it.

I have managed to find a few PDFs for Northampton to Wansford stretches so have a few ideas for the Northampton to Peterborough bit. So now only need work out the Peterborough to Kings Lynn stretch.

You could use a mixture of OS and Google Maps online and then use Google Streetview to see what the view's like from a given stretch of road (though I doubt you can find anything deemed 'scenic' between Peterborough and King's Lynn unless you enjoy views of acres of cabbages!). In other words, you don't need to feel you have to rely on some published idea of a good route. Just make up your own keeping keep to minor roads.

Looks like I can follow the Nene which Is good as I would like to stay off any main roads on this trip (at least when I can)

Plan to visit My Family in Kings Lynn, then cycle home via The Nene Valley, The the Grand Union Canal and after a stop with family in Telford then join the Shropshire Union Canal to Ellsmere.

If anyone has ridden any part of these and has info and want to share I would be grateful
