It looks like a straight run via Southwark Bridge, Threadneedle Street, and then on to the A10 up past Liverpool Street Station. Potential job is just before Rivington Street on the left.

TFL website tries to take me via Blackfriars Bridge but from some of the accounts I've read here and elsewhere, the right turn into Queen Victoria Street isn't the greatest and could be considered downright dangerous - whereas one of the superhighways goes over Southwark Bridge and there is a mixed use path up Queen Street, across Cannon Street and down that way.

I am a little nervous as it always looks manically busy (Bishopsgate in particular, and with the roadworks) and my experience is limited to suburban town traffic (Kingston and Richmond) - but when I have been in the area, there have been loads of cyclists, so it can't be all bad. It seems a pity for my Brompton to be gathering dust and this job is a good one (would be perfect if I could move the offices a few miles west but the media folks seem to like the area).

Any pointers for the route?
