I am ex Pusser, commuted from Saltash to Devonport and Mount Wise for a few years.

The Royal Dockyard railway lines and wooden decked caissons were definite pension traps for a cyclist !

i've heard they've stopped cycling in Pompey dockyard for just that reason!

I used to regularly race round Culdrose on the Trice!

Very likely...

The Trice went about 5 years ago to be repaced by a Catrike and Gekko.

used to work at St Mary's Hospital and used the ferry regularly. Now we are at QA, that has changed

I have only recently taken up cycling, and never rode a bike in the 25 years I was in the mob, apart from a rusty old Pussers Red Devil !

I have however, purchased one of these fine looking jerseys.........

I live just around the corner from RNAS Yeovilton, HMS Heron, I often see the Navy guys out on their bikes, I tried to catch up with a bunch of them once, I gave up after several miles, those boys are quick.
I occasionally spot a Royal Marine on a bike, they are easy to recognise because they have no necks and very iffy haircuts.
