Used to be in Bradford city-centre, but sadly only mail-order now, but that's not an issue for you
http://www.sportsshoes.com/ (normally good Inov-8 prices)

I've had good service from these suppliers too;

http://www.rundirect.co.uk/ (sometimes show up at Fell-Races, & have 'dirt-cheap', but good jackets/tights/shorts & tops)

Hope it helps

+1 for http://www.startfitness.co.uk/
I'm only a beginner but like their More Mile (own brand?) gear. Good performance for my needs. Just watch the sizing, i find it varies between products but tends to be a little snug. You can usually find a 10% off code too.

+2 for more mile, I have used socks, shorts, tri suits, vests and all have been up more than adequate so far.

The More Mile 'Cheviot' fell-shoes are exceptional for the prices they are sometimes on offer for.

I have a pair for training purposes, when running 'XC'/footpaths/Brideways around here, BUT, I consider them far too rigid (not conforming to the surface well) for racing purposes

Gail, one of my friends uses the Chev 2, & is very happy with them for fell & 'XC' racing (mine are the original model)

For fell-races, I'll stick to my Inov-8 'Mud-Claws'! As the soles are more pliant, & they're a lighter shoe

Just been shopping to Aldi (not for cycle gear!) and their in store leaflet makes a tiny mention of runnung gear 'next week'. Not on their website just yet but possibly worth looking out for. I've just received another delivery from StartFitness too - would have waited if i had known.
