I've run over a few rabbits, had close calls with chickens, sheep, squirrels, pheasants (loads) etc.
Other than that I see - birds(garden birds etc), birds(of prey), squirrels, ducks, rats, mice, moles, stoats, ferrets, pheasants, chickens, sheep, cows, rabbits, chickens, geese, dogs, cats, swans, herons, foxes, hedgehogs... and this is all on the road.
I'm always surprised when people seen a say they have never seen a badger, but I guess it is understandable.
At our old house, every now and again we set out a plate of meat scraps and film it with a camera switched to night vision mode. One day, my dad was setting it up and just adjusting the camera on the tripod when a badger appeared about 2 feet away from his face ...eeek
Here and a few other counties badgers are collected specifically by Defra because of TB etc. I see them all the time, and have hit a few (dead) ones... it feels like you've hit a dead dear or something - they're huge!
So instead of people never saying they've seen a badger here - they generally say they've never seen a live one!
