Looking forward to catching up with everybody ! Work has been crazy busy, but I'm back now . Did I miss anything?

They're all 5 of the 5-a-day, you've got raisins, currants, orange peel, lemon peel and sultanas according to Delia. That's 5 by my counting so in theory I should eat lots to get the full benefit.

Leg is gradually getting better, been to a physio which has helped and also ultrasound on it.

Did 28 miles a week ago and then 15 a couple of days later. Was sore on the old knee so the physio should have helped that, but now that the snow is here it is indoor training I am afraid

So are we going to make it the 11th??

Great news about your leg improving and you starting with the cycling again - just take it easy after the long break!

About the 11th - you are in charge, Jane , go for it!
All the poor hungry souls will turn up, no doubt

Just been skiing (on Telemark skis ) round Arthur's Seat, it was great! 2nd day of the office being closed, and have been going crazy trying to work from home, I don't get much exercise walking between the kettle and laptop ...

If it doesn't warm up, we'll be skiing across to the Kingdom rather than cycling .

I'm afraid I'm out Ms.Smart - got a 2 year old's birthday party to go to (Iris' best friend), it's just round the corner so I can have a beer or two!

I thought you'd re-schedule the RDV ride due to the weather - it's pretty bad here!

Ok lets postpone Saturdays RV ride, the roads are very bad here still, so definately no cycling and even parking is not good.

Sorry everyone, no point in me cooking soup and making cakes for no one at all to turn up

deja vu .... I was starting to wonder how far from the train station Chez Jane's was, for a walk
Hope the weather allows for a new date soon ... we'probably due a green Christmas now !

We (HJ & I) are thinking of a possible "open house" date next Sunday, for friends & neighbours, any friendly CCers welcome, too - more details when we've made our mind up. It's been very quiet and subdued on this thread!!! Anybody still out there?
